Educause Conference Presentation

In collaboration with the Integrated Instructional / Learning Environments (IILE) Principle, IILE Advisory Panel members and faculty attended the Educause Conference October 29-November 2, 2018. This video is a recap presentation by Rik Sehgal and Paige McMinn. Educause is the primary conference where higher education professionals and technology providers interface. It is designed to inspire professionals to think, wonder, and explore technology capabilities for future students. This is where we get to work with peers, to share ideas, and build relationships as we discuss pressing technology issues. Featured at this conference were 700+ technology providers and 300+ sessions. Big takeaways included strategies to simplify technology implementation, strategies to enhance mobility, strategies to promote active learning and real-time classroom analytics, and strategies to integrate adaptive and intuitive technologies such as mixed reality/virtual reality into the educational environment.
