2018 Leadership TCC Team Presentations

Team 1 Topic/Title: The Mentoring Advantage Presenters: Greta Bowling, Janine Dada, Kreshnike Duraku, James Lemay, and Stephanie Castillo (Team Leader) Description: Team 1 will discuss how empowering students to pursue and complete their academic journeys often takes the assistance of guides inside and outside of the classroom. Team 2 Topic/Title: Building Cohesion Through Communication Presenters: Andrew Duffield, Holley Rider, Gracie Williams, and Samantha Morales (Team Leader) Description: Team 2 will explore how open communication can better serve our students by creating a cohesive process for student events. Team 3 Topic/Title: One College: Communication and Collaboration Presenters: Maria Delgado, Keely Edwards, Stephanie Galindo, Angela Morse, and Samuel Gleaton (Team Leader) Description: Team 3 seeks to foster internal communication and collaboration by exploring and promoting the tools available. Team 4 Topic/Title: Aligning Learning Centers for Student Success Presenters: Keith Kennedy, Erica McNeal, Eva Schaffer, and Lynn Heisey (Team Leader) Description: Team 4 will examine how seeking greater collaboration and unity among campus learning centers will provide a more consistent learning environment for greater student success. Team 5 Topic/Title: One College Culture Presenters: Rachael Capua, Montoya McNeil, Nicholas Nervo, and Eli Mercer (Team Leader) Description: Team 5 conducted nearly 30 interviews across the Tarrant County College District in hopes of identifying ideas for how the institution can create a “One College” ecosystem centered on people, collaboration, and meaningful results. Team 6 Topic/Title: Unveiling the Secrets: TCC Agents of Change Presenters: Wafeeq Sabir, Nelum Samaranayake, Rosalyn Walker, and Jody Wasson (Team Leader) Description: Team 6 will describe how many people don’t know what TCC offers beyond the basics, as TCC Agents of Change we are here to unveil the perceived secrets.
